Kurtoskalacs is a unique chain that serves its Hungarian namesake delicacy "Kurtokalacs aka chimney cakes". Considered as a street snack, the origin of this delicacy is specific to Transylvania, Hungary, and especially popular in the Hungarian-speaking regions of Romania. It is a crisp pastry that is filled with soft savoury or sweet stuffing. The Kurtoskalacs chain is touted to be the first eatery that has brought with it the unique taste of old-world Europe to the streets of Bangalore in the form of these Chimney Cakes. They do two different versions of this unique delicacy-- the chimney cone and chimney cake. The cake version can be customized with various toppings like chocolate sauce and whipped cream whereas the cone version sports a savory or sweet filling of your choice. The dessert style of this cone usually includes fillings like fresh ice cream, chocolate drizzle, various kinds of sugary sauces and syrups.
