If you are in this old part of South Bangalore, you will know that the area could do with some really nice pubs, with reasonably good food, drinks and a dance floor. Gotcha checks all the right boxes in this department. The bar has a fairly comprehensive collection of beers and spirits. Most of the classics feature on the cocktail list and you would not be disappointed with them. Gotcha shares a kitchen most likely with another restaurant in the same building – The Chervil and so you will find some of the same dishes on the menu. The 'Curd Rice Tikki' is a good pick. The 'Tangra-Style Bhel' is a take on the version from Calcutta’s China Town. For those who love their paneer, the 'Paneer Kali Mirch Tikka' is a good bet. The 'Tempura Veggies' are decent but have to be had immediately. I personally like the 'Cuban Mojo Chicken' which is charcoal grilled and skewered along with bell peppers. It is the marinade on this one that works really well. The 'Teriyaki Chicken Wings' also was really good. The 'House Special Papri Kebab' with 'Tender Chicken Supreme' and the accompanying tamarind relish pairs well with beers. The 'Triple Decker Chicken Sandwich' is quite substantial and comes with fries and dips. A total meal in itself and a good way to wrap up an evening.
