There are quite a few Gilly’s in Bangalore, with a sizable number in Koramangala alone. In fact, right opposite 104 is Gilly’s Eco Space as well. A nice indoor/outdoor kind of pub, the focus here is on bar food, combos and all-time favourites from Gilly’s. Beers are usually the way I go, but Gilly’s has a great range in its cocktails section – divided on the basis of the alcohol of your choice, you have a lot to choose from. With a group of friends, the pitchers, as well as the Long Drinks, would be a good idea. Among their signatures, 'Kya Kool Hai Hum' and the 'Praan Na Jaye' are good choices. To go with these the 'Disco Deewane Snack Platter' is a good idea. You could also opt for something from their Nachos range – 'Murgh Kheema' or the 'Cheesy Veg' perhaps. Maggi lovers rejoice, you have some interesting selections here – 'Broccoli Corn' and the 'Murgh Maha Maggi' too. Among the starters, the 'Chilli Oyster Shredded Chicken' and the 'Roasted Vegetable Crostini with Beetroot Peanut Hummus' are good choices. Some of the interesting mains are the 'Korean Pork Belly with Pork Crackling', 'The Kerala Beef' as well as the 'Grilled Tenderloin' with a whisky flambe. Do not think that the choice ends there. There are rolls, sandwiches, popular Italian and Indian too. Pizzas and curry bowls stand side by side too. And, the 'Sheermal Ghosht Biryani' is definitely something to try.
