Chef Nakamura is the father of Japanese cooking in India from his time over a decade and a half ago at Delhi’s Sakura, where he introduced Indians to classic Japanese cooking and was the first Chef to popularise Kobe beef in India. Nakamura is now Chef at this sleekly elegant Japanese restaurant, designed by Tokyo’s Super Potato, and still serves some of the best Japanese food in India for an audience of admiring Japanese expats and visitors. But if you are a fan of Nobu-influenced modern Japanese, then the kitchen team can take you away from Nakamura’s kaiseki-style cuisine and cook a great meal with the finest ingredients, freshly flown in from Japan and elsewhere.
