Chavadi is a rooftop restaurant right next to IIMB and is a multi-layered set-up, going up 3 levels. Tables offer a great view and enough of privacy for a date or an informal meeting. The menu offers up everything – from sandwiches available through the clock, to pizzas, to eggs done in many ways, to full-fledged meals of grills, bakes and more. The 'Wild Mushroom and Pepper Cannelloni' is a great pick. From the wood fire placed in at a visible spot in the restaurant comes some really nice 'Margherita Pizza', a favourite with my little one. 'Popeye’s Favourite Pizza' is also a nice pick and the 'Veggie Overload' is a delight. Among the drinks, the 'Litchi Blossom' is great as is the 'Melon Twist'. For vegetarians, a good starter is the 'Tandoori Paneer Tikka Shashlik'. The 'BBQ Chicken Wings' go really well with beers (do look out for the offers they have going). For the mains, a 'Thai Veg Curry' is a nice option as is the 'Chicken Tikka Masala with Rotis (whole wheat, if you want that way)'. The 'Bombay Pav Bhaji' will satisfy cravings for hot, spicy snacks. And to wrap up the age-old sizzling 'Brownie with Ice Cream' is a safe bet.
