Not often do you come across a multi-cuisine restaurant that does all its dishes well and you don’t walk out feeling like you had a very generic meal. Cable Car has long been a popular favorite in Jayanagar and with good reason. If you would like to go the Italian way, then their pastas the 'Crostini' and the 'Cheesy Quesadilla' are a way to go. For Indian you could do the 'Pahadi Aloo' which comes in a green masala or the 'Amritsari Babycorn' which packs quite a bit in the spice department. Good nevertheless when you pair it with one of the virgin flavoured 'Mojitos'. The 'Tomato Shorba' is light and aromatic with fresh coriander. A good soup for a cold evening. The 'Subzi Tawa Masala' with 'Spring Onion Kulcha' (Never seen this variety before) is quite the good combination. The veggies are heavy on the grease, but nothing wrong in some indulgence occasionally, especially when it tastes really good. Mix that up with some 'Jeera Rice' and you have comfort food going. The 'Daal Bukhara' is not really up there but is still good enough and when paired with the garlic naan works really nice. The place offers a lot in Paneer, so if you are a Paneer lover, you are going to love it. Always a sucker for 'Bhindi', this place whips up some good dishes with this vegetable. The Italian and Indo-Chinese will not leave you disappointed.
