A multi-floor set-up with a now-signature Koi Pond to look over. With Martin brewing the beers and Chef Saby consulting on the menu, you have the perfect recipe for a great place. And, that is what Byg Brewski assures you on each and every visit. While the ambience alone can have you mesmerized, the menu and the drinks never fail to impress. Start with the 'Chilli Cheese Roll', crispy and hot casing filled with molten cheese, a touch of Naga chillies and herbs. Perfect to go with those drinks. The 'Hot Black Prawns' go really well with the beer here, pepper and soy as a base can work wonders. The 'Crystal Shine Dumplings' is a great choice for the vegetarians and are stuffed not with the usual, but with lotus roots, carrots and coriander. The 'African Suya Kebab' comes straight from the streets of Kenya. These long, hand pounded kebabs are spicy and quite the crowd pleaser. Byg Brewski prides itself on its thin crust pizzas and with good reason – try the 'Garden City Pizza', an ode to the city and you will know why. Other great dishes are the 'Stir-fried Beef', the 'Apple and Sun-dried Tomato Salad', the 'Black Mushroom Risotto', and their unique 'Garlic Bread', which is an entire loaf sliced, stuffed and grilled. Getting on to the beers, Byg currently has around 6 beers on tap but do note that these can vary in number and kind. The 'Golden Ale' and the 'Belgian Wit' are the ones for everybody. If you like a good old stout, then the 'Coffee Stout' is the one to go with. The 'Belgian Trippel' packs quite a punch and you may want to end with this one, or begin too! If cocktails are the way you want to go, then 'Satan’s Sour' is one to try – a fruit base that will bring out the naughty side in you. There are the classics, the beer cocktails and if you still do not find what you are looking for, the bar is ever-ready to whip up something to your liking.
